The launch of the AGA City60 at Country Warmth

We have recently taken delivery of a new AGA City60. We chose the cream traditional model to display and have ordered a black colour way with contemporary features which we hope to take delivery of this week.

The cream AGA City60 is working so customers can see how well the new hot plate with its detachable resting plate works.

We were fortunate enough to have Sara Danesin Medio with us last Saturday for our official Launch of the cooker. We had great fun cooking up a feast and demonstrating some of the City60's unique features to customers. 

Sara cooked halloumi, for a Mediterranean salad, using the bako-glide on the Hot Plate/ Simmering Plate. She showed how useful the resting plate is to thaw frozen raspberries which were then 'jammed' by sitting for a short spell in the simmering oven. These were served with the most delicious miniature scones crafted by Sara. The scones were baked in the top oven on the baking mode. Then the same oven was turned into a roasting oven (all at the flick of a switch!) and Sara's special chorizo and roast potato wedges were made for everyone to enjoy.

We had a fantastic day and we were thrilled with the results including welcoming five new people to the AGA City60 owners club!

AGA City60 Open Day

It's here! We now have a lovely cream AGA City60 in our showroom ready for our open day with Sara Danesin Medio tomorrow.

Sara will be putting the new City60 through its paces tomorrow from 11.30am-3.00pm.

AGA City60

We were delighted to attend the official distributors launch of the new AGA City60 last week. We were invited to an evening meal with the team at AGA, who have worked so hard to develop and produce this new model.

Then the next day we took a factory tour to see the new AGA City60 in production!

The AGA City60 is a new 60cm wide AGA with two cast iron ovens that offer roasting, baking and simmering temperatures plus one top plate that can be set to boil or simmer plus a spacious warm 'resting' area. It offers the quality and tradition of the AGA brand with with the flexibility of size to fit in a smaller kitchen.

We were joined by the newly selected AGA ambassador, our friend Sara Danesin Medio. Sara is a huge AGA fan and uses a two oven AGA to produce delicious meals at her dining club at St Johns Street in York.

Sara will be demonstrating on the new AGA City60 at our launch event on Saturday 20th September. Why not come along and see the new AGA and Sara in action together. The shop is open from 9.30am - 5pm and Sara will be present from 11am - 3pm.
